Most programs start within three weeks of signing and run a first live window about ten weeks after kickoff. Every step has an owner and a date.

Kickoff and import
Within three weeks of signingYour implementation lead imports items, sets roles and connects single sign-on or your LMS.
Forms and accommodations
Weeks 3 to 6Forms built to your blueprint; each approved accommodation set per candidate before test day.
Pilot window
Weeks 7 and 8Twenty to forty volunteers sit the exam under real conditions, and we fix what they hit.
First live window
Weeks 9 and 10Your lead stays on the support line; item statistics arrive within one business day of close.
Test day, as candidates see it
A candidate gets a reminder with a link a few days before. On the day they run a short system check, show photo ID to the camera and start on time. Approved accommodations are already applied, so nobody has to ask twice. The portal works in English or Spanish, and the candidate-day line answers if something breaks.
Questions about going live
How soon can our first exam go live?
Most programs start within three weeks of signing, and a single exam usually runs its first live window about ten weeks after kickoff, with a pilot in between. If your date is closer than that, say so in the demo. We will tell you plainly whether it is realistic and what would have to give.
What do we need to provide?
Your items in any format, a blueprint or content outline, your window dates, your accommodation approvals and a named person who signs off items. Subject matter experts come from your field, and the proposal schedules their review hours so nobody is surprised by the time it takes.
Who is our main contact?
Your implementation lead. They configure the platform, accommodations and integrations, send a short written note every week and stay with you through your first live window. After that, support@exampit.com answers in business hours, and a candidate-day line covers each scheduled live window.
What happens after the first window?
Within one business day of the window closing you receive item statistics: difficulty, discrimination and reliability for each form. Your lead walks through them with you, marks items to review and plans the next window. If you need a documented pass mark, this is the point to plan a Standard Setting Study.
