Exams for hundreds, graded by Friday
Secure exams inside your LMS, with grading your faculty can check.

A 600-student midterm should not cost a teaching team its weekend. Exams launch from your LMS through LTI 1.3, short answers and essays get a first-pass score that faculty confirm, and grades return to the gradebook with every change on record.
Where large courses lose time
Grading bottlenecks
Teaching assistants spend days on short answers, and scores drift between graders by Thursday.
Four tools per exam
Quizzes in the LMS, proctoring in another tab, grades in a spreadsheet, appeals by email.
Accommodations by hand
Extra time letters arrive the week before, and someone sets each one exam by exam.
Title II for publics
Public institutions face WCAG 2.1 AA dates in April 2027 or 2028 under the DOJ rule.
Where faculty and IT start
Automated grading
Rubric, short-answer and essay scoring with a first pass, a human review queue and an audit trail.
Grading Pilot
One course for one term, so faculty see the scores before the department commits.
Online testing platform
LTI 1.3 with Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and D2L Brightspace, plus SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect sign-on.
Remote proctoring and integrity
Record-and-review for online sections, with flags reviewed by a trained person within two business days.
Your first 90 days
- Days 1 to 30
Connect one course
IT adds the LTI 1.3 tool and single sign-on; one instructor moves a midterm and its rubric.
- Days 31 to 60
Grade in parallel
Teaching assistants and the first pass score the same answers; we report agreement by rubric row.
- Days 61 to 90
Decide with evidence
The department reviews agreement, logged grading hours and student appeals before adding courses.
Questions faculty and IT ask us
Which learning management systems do you work with?
Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and D2L Brightspace, through LTI 1.3. Students open the exam from the course page, rosters come across with the launch, and grades pass back to the gradebook column you choose. Campus sign-on works through SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect, so students never manage a second password.
Does AI assign final grades to students?
No. The system proposes a first-pass score for each short answer or essay against your rubric, and an instructor or teaching assistant confirms or changes it. Low-confidence answers go to the front of the review queue. Every score keeps its history, so a student appeal shows who decided and why.
How do you handle student records under FERPA?
We handle student records as your service provider and use them only to deliver the service you contract for. Data is hosted in the United States, encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or later and at rest with AES-256, and access is limited by role. Your counsel reviews our data terms before you sign.
Can we try it on one course before committing?
Yes. The Grading Pilot runs one course or exam for one term, from $2,400, and ends with an agreement report comparing first-pass scores with your graders. Education programs receive 15 percent off platform fees if the department decides to extend it to more courses afterward.
