Assessment help across southern New Mexico

Workshops, grading pilots and test sites, from Mesilla to Silver City.

Southern New Mexico covers long distances: Silver City is nearly two hours from Las Cruces, and many candidates test in two languages. We bring on-site days to colleges, districts and employers here with no travel fee, and keep the rest remote.

Where we work in the south

We plan southern visits as full days, often two sites on one trip.

  • Las Cruces
  • Mesilla
  • University Park
  • Sunland Park
  • Alamogordo
  • Deming
  • Silver City

What we run in the south

  • Grading pilot kickoffs

A day with faculty setting up one course’s rubric and first-pass scoring for the term.

  • Rubric calibration sessions

Teachers or faculty score the same anchor papers together until their ratings agree.

  • Item writing workshops

Your experts write and review items with a facilitator, including Spanish forms if you offer them.

  • Test site setup

A campus or training center room set up for proctored online testing, with a rehearsal.

Questions from southern New Mexico

Do you charge extra to travel to Las Cruces?

No. On-site days anywhere in New Mexico carry no travel fee, so a workshop in Las Cruces, Deming or Silver City costs the same as one in Albuquerque. The work is priced in a fixed-fee, itemized proposal, such as a Grading Pilot from $2,400 or a Rubric Calibration Sprint from $3,200.

Can Spanish-speaking candidates use the platform?

Yes. The candidate portal, with scheduling, reminders and results, runs in English and Spanish. Exam content appears in the language your items are written in, so a Spanish form needs your bilingual subject matter experts to write or review it. We facilitate that work but never write content outside our competence.

Do you work with programs across the line in El Paso?

Yes. Sites in New Mexico, such as Sunland Park and Anthony, carry no travel fee. Sites in El Paso and elsewhere in Texas are billed for travel at cost, itemized in the proposal. Software and remote services work the same anywhere in the United States, with support on Mountain time.
