Certification exams for the Phoenix metro

Remote support all year, and on-site days for panels and launches.

Phoenix is a day’s drive or a short flight from Albuquerque, so we plan visits around the moments that need people in one room: job analysis meetings, cut score panels and launch days. Everything else runs remotely, and travel is billed at cost.

Where we work in the Valley

One trip usually covers two or three days and more than one site.

  • Downtown Phoenix
  • Tempe
  • Mesa
  • Scottsdale
  • Chandler
  • Gilbert
  • Glendale

When we come to Phoenix

  • Job analysis meetings

A psychometrician leads your practitioner panel through listing and rating the tasks of the job.

  • Standard setting panels

Your cut score study run in person, with panelist ratings captured in the platform as they go.

  • Item writing workshops

Your subject matter experts trained, then drafting and reviewing items against your blueprint.

  • Launch days

Your implementation lead on site for the first live window, beside staff at check-in.

Travel, time zones and billing

  • Travel at cost

Flights or mileage, lodging and meals billed at cost and itemized in your proposal.

  • Arizona time

Arizona keeps standard time, so from March to November our 9 a.m. is your 8 a.m.

  • Paired sessions

We pair a panel with an item writing day, so one trip covers two pieces of work.

  • Remote by default

Kickoffs, item reviews and reporting run by video, with support Monday to Friday.

Questions from Phoenix programs

How is travel billed for Phoenix visits?

At cost, with no travel fee on top. Your proposal lists the planned on-site days with an estimate for flights or mileage, lodging and meals, and the invoice shows what was actually spent. Pairing two sessions on one trip, such as a panel and an item writing day, keeps the travel line down.

Do we need on-site days at all?

No. Many Arizona programs run entirely remotely: kickoffs, item review, standard setting panels and reporting all work by video. On-site days help most for multi-day panels and a first live window, when people in one room settle questions faster. Your proposal shows both options with their costs so you choose.

What support hours apply in Arizona?

Support runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain, Monday to Friday. Because Arizona keeps standard time, that is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. your time from March to November and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the rest of the year. During scheduled live windows, a support line covers your candidates as well.
